Importance Of Typography in a Web Design

Typography is one of the extremely essential and the most overlooked aspects of a web design. Good typography can be a keystone to a successful web design. Since so much of web design consists of verbiages, hitting the right mark for typography is a main factor in the success of your website.

Type Selections:

More than any other design choice that you make, type selection is the one that give your website character and context. Pick them carefully, and they’ll either assist you communicate with viewers, or sidetrack them.

Line Spacing:

The line spacing can be a key deal breaker for a good design of typography. Line spacing is the spacing of lines of your text. Budge them further apart, and it usually becomes much more readable and easier for the eye. Your line spacing must be, as a rule of thumb, about 0.3em-0.5em larger than the size of your font, although it depends on your design.

The Number of Different Fonts:

Usually the web designers pick a single font and continue with it, but it is not a hard and fast rule. You can be a lot more visually fascinating to choose 2 to 3 fonts and use them in carefully crafted combinations.
